Ski Center Latemar was one of the first ski areas to believe in snowboarding. As a matter of fact, it purchased a pipe designer as long ago as 1997. A pipe was carefully shaped and maintained three times a week. Since then, Obereggen expert snowcat operators have made one every winter season.

The pipe is located next to the Toler piste; you can see it on the left hand side as you ski downhill. It is made entirely of snow (including artificial snow) and measures approximately 80m in length, 20m in width and 3.5m in height. Usually, it is opened just before Christmas. 

The park is located on the Obereggen piste, which is equipped with a chairlift nearing the same name. Every first or second weekend in January a party is organised to mark the opening of the park. Admittedly, it is not huge, but it is certainly well kept. There are 3-4 kicks depending upon the period. The largest measures 15 metres and includes a steep landing area. There are two 4m twin tube rails, a triple tube and a box. The park, as well as the pipe, is serviced by means of a powerful programmed snow making system.
