Top-class golf
This is something you don’t see every day: golf at an altitude of over 1,200 metres / 3,900 feet. The courses (nine holes) at Karersee and Petersberg (18 holes) make it possible.
Their special feature:both courses have been created by renowned golf-course architect Marco Croze, fully respecting the original landscape.
This means no indiscriminate replanting, and no major earth movements likely to result in radical changes to this landscape.
Our desire is to provide a harmonious ambience for our mountain highlands.
The Petersberg Golf Club is located on
a high plateau (1200 m), with beautiful mountain views. Mature trees coexist with the greens, which are hidden behind fiendishly-designed doglegs or deep vegetation, alongside the wide meadows.
Just 25 km / 15½ miles, at 1600 metres / 1 mile above sea level, lies the Karersee golf course . Located at the foot of Rosengarten, this old 18-hole course has been converted into a nine-hole course with unique Alpine characteristics.

The mountain landscape is absolutely unrivalled, as an unforgettable tee-off under the evening sun bathing Rosengarten will show. This is indeed a course for the experienced golfer. The Karersee golf course is also the annual venue, every June, of the “Alpine Iron Man” event, a marathon 54-hole tournament consisting of some 12 hours of non-stop golf, and a truly strenuous challenge to players’ power of concentration and stamina.
